GS '2 3 - "La Conquista de Brabante Vallon"
What do we have in mind ?
- A 65 km Social ride with team Grelly as your guide. Do you have questions regarding our bikepacking event, are you curious to see who we are and what kind of events we might organise in the future, … ? Well, … this option will be the best way to meet and have a chat. Depending on the number of participants and the differences in speed, we can split the group at the start or along the way. We are flexible!
- A 90 km track that will be ridden OR in group OR in a self-supportive manner: gather your friends, lubricate your chain, inflate (or deflate for some) your tyres and off you go! Enjoy the ride and let’s meet after the finish in herberg 'Den Deugniet'.
- A challenging 135 km track... As the name of the event betrays: we'll go South from start and include some nice views and hidden treasures in the track. Own pace, self-supported !
What kind of bike to bring ?
All tracks will go south from the start/finish in Haasrode and will have a mixture of terrain to deal with: gravel, tarmac, single tracks, some rougher surface, cobbles, you name it. Don’t expect only the super-smooth surfaces like you can find them in the Zonienwoud or the High fens; a cyclocross bike will be on the limit but a gravel bike with at least 42mm tyres would be perfect. Mountainbikes are a good option for those seeking for some more comfort. Expect an elevation gain around 600m for the short, 800m for the 90km and around 1750m for the 135km. All tracks are still being finalized, exact numbers will follow.
