Trelly '26 - "Run, Sleep, Repeat"

After three incredible editions, we are thrilled to announce our 4th trail edition: Trelly ’26!

While we love our tradition of exploring new regions in and around Belgium, this year we are returning to Luxembourg to discover the breathtaking Mullerthal region near the German border.   Famous for its beautiful nature, spectacular rock formations, deep valleys and stunning viewpoints, this area truly is a runner’s paradise.

We will start once again from Vianden, the same location as two years ago - but with completely new routes! This picturesque town, crowned by its majestic castle overlooking the valley, provides the perfect setting for our adventure.

Mark your calendars for the second weekend of September and join us for an unforgettable experience. We warmly welcome all adventurous (trail) runners to take part. Expect everything you love about (ultra-)trailing: off-road challenges, endurance, camaraderie, a self-supported experience, fun, and the thrill of discovering new horizons ! Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or seeking your next big challenge, lace up your running shoes and join us for Trelly ’26. Adventure awaits!

What is it?

Trelly is more than just a run - it is a multi-stage trail adventure with a social twist! Over the course of 3 unforgettable days, you will cover a distance anywhere between 100 km and 100 miles. Each day offers 2-3 distance options, and while we will all start together, it will be up to you to pick your pace and be smart regarding your own supplies - remember that Trelly is a self-supported event.

Is it a race ? Not really … Is it a challenge? Yes, absolutely!

Start: Friday, September 11th, 2026 - ~9:00 a.m.

Finish: Sunday, September 13th, 2026 - ~3:00/4:00 p.m.

Start / Finish location: Vianden, Luxembourg (to be confirmed).

Day distances will vary between 30-65 km/day, to reach a total of ~100 to 160 km after 3 days.

Limited # Spots: with a small group, there is more flexibility & more social interactions, ... and we value that a lot! We will limit our event to 20 participants.       â€‹

Place to be ?

This year’s course takes us along the rivers Our and Sûre, between Vianden and Echternach. Compared to our last edition’s steep climbs and descents, the terrain will be more rolling, although slightly more technical due to the impressive rock formations in the area.

For simplicity and a touch of comfort, we’ve opted for a single base camp for two nights. This means two point-to-point stages (Day 1 and Day 3) and one loop stage (Day 2). The result: more relaxed mornings and evenings, giving you time to recover, recharge and connect with fellow participants.

Where will we sleep? We have spotted a well-located glamping area offering choices to suit different preferences. Options range from cozy glamping tents with good beds and shared showering facilities to fully-equipped chalets with multiple rooms.

What about breakfast and dinner? Breakfasts and dinners will be taken care of so you can focus on the adventure ahead. We’ll make it work, no worries !

The Course

In good Trelly tradition, the final tracks will remain a surprise until just one week before the event. For now, they are still on the drawing table, but expect something in the range of up to 1750m+ for the 60km tracks. If you love panoramic viewpoints and slightly more technical trails, you'll have to climb :-). Once we have more detailed info, we surely update the page.

Although this might look over the limit, take in mind that there is no rush, and you have the whole day to tackle your chosen distance. You can also choose the distance on the day itself: it’s perfectly fine to do (for example, depending on the final tracks60/35/40 kms or 35/45/30 or even skip the 2nd day to cheer for the other participants - it all fits in the Trelly spirit.
